I TOTALLY get it. It's completely normal to feel shy or nervous in front of the camera, but I'm here to help. We will keep things easy and keep you moving. This helps you feel more natural in front of the camera and not feeling so posed. This is also why I always recommend the engagement session. This will allow us to get to know each other a little bit more & practice before the big day!
All of my equipment is professional Canon gear and I ALWAYS bring a second camera with plenty of memory cards and extra batteries. I do have business insurance and I'm able to provide your venue a certificate upon request.
This is up to you, but I totally recommend one for a few reasons! First, my style of photography works best when we've gotten to know each other. An engagement session is the perfect time for us to hang out & spend time together before your day! It's also a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera, and practice makes perfect. It's totally natural to feel a little bit nervous/awkward when you're not used to having your photo taken, but your engagement session will make you two pros by the time the big day rolls around.
Home base is Sacramento area, but I often travel to the coast from Mendocino all the way down to Monterey. Lucky for you, my packages include most of Northern California. For Southern California, I have a flat rate for travel. All out of state pricing please inquiry & we can chat all the details!

First step is to inquire through my contact form. If I have availability for your date, then we will schedule a call to chat details and package options. Once you choose your package a $500 retainer + a signed contract is required to secure your date. We will then schedule your engagement session + start the planning process. I will be there every step of the way!
After our session or your elopement, you will receive sneak peeks within 72 hours. For engagement sessions your gallery will be delivered within 2 - 3 weeks. Elopements + intimate wedding galleries will be delivered within 6 - 8 depending on the season. Spring + fall are typically the busiest time of the year for me.
You gallery will be filled with the best of the best! I will not keep any worth sharing, however I will not deliver all images taken. Trust me, you don't want them all! Some are out of focus, blinking or not the best angles. Also, part of my art is the post process and editing involved.
Everyones ultimate goal is to feel joy when they look back at their images. This happens when you establish a connection by feeling comfortable and trusting you will be taken care of. Your photographer should be someone who is just as excited for your day as you are. By the end of all your planning they might even start to feel like family or just a really great friend.
